Was mostly standard and everyone was nice to talk to. First was a recruiter call, then chat with the manager about my past experience, then a 4-round virtual onsite with 2 coding rounds, 1 system design, and one behavioral. The recruiter had been in touch with me regularly leading up to the interview, then completely ghosted me after it. The pay they were offering was also below industry average. Don't waste your time applying here.

Question 1
One of the coding rounds was tougher than the other as it was quite ambiguous what you were even supposed to do. System design I also found challenging as instead of starting a dialogue about the requirements I was presented with a wall of text detailing requirements which really threw me off. The hardest part was keeping track of it and rereading the text to make sure I didn't miss any.
Recruiter who I was already in contact with recommended me to the position. 30 min engineering manager behavioral, 30 min leetcode medium problem, followed by 4 panel interviews. (uncertain of what the panel interviews consist of)

First initial phone screening on google meet with video. The recruiter missed the first call and I was waiting for 15minutes into my lunch break. I emailed the recruiter, they seemed sorry and then we rescheduled. Phone screening was as aspected, tell me about yourself, why NYT, logistics, etc.
15 minute recruiter call (informational, make sure to let them know if there are other roles you're interested in at the company as they could be a recruiter for that role as well), 30 min hiring manager, 30 minute technical
