Application
I applied in-person. I interviewed at New York Times (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
good, lots of calls and talking about the position. discussed all the duties and the pay and the hours, spoke with supervisor took a tour of building, it was a good interview
The interview consisted of meeting up to 8 people for a series of panel and individual interviews. The recruiter and hiring team ghosted me after completing the process, which was very disruptive to my workday (i.e. several interviews spread out across my week, plus some scheduled when I didn't offer availability. Hot tip to NYT - remember, a lot of your candidates are working full-time, going through other processes, and they chose to spend time with YOU). This is clearly a team that doesn't value integrity and honesty, like they so boast on their website and interviews. Several of the interviewers were late to the meeting, and several asked the same questions because they didn't align ahead of time.
