I attended the May 2014 New Grad Meet and Greet. The Talent Acquisition Team is very welcoming and enthusiastic about hiring new nursing graduates. Application is competitive (internal hires and those with experience as PCAs are strong candidates, at least superficially), but they take the time to hear everyone deliver their "living cover letter" elevator pitch.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital
Interview
I did one interview with HR followed by PCD through zoom. The interview did not last more than 30 minutes to an hour altogether. Overall, the interview process was laidback.
I had a phone interview first with the talent acquisition recruiter. Once I passed that, I had a virtual zoom interview with the Manager. All questions typically common for registered nurse questions.
I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Zoomvliet)
Interview
Quick zoom interview, It was with 3 people, Two from HR and a Nurse director of the unit. They asked the basic questions. It was a quick 15 minutes and did not seem like they were interested to begin with,
