CXOne Director of Strategy and Business Operations
I had applied for this role online. A recruiter contacted me. We had an introductory chat session. I was then scheduled speak with the hiring manager over MS-Teams.
Even though I did not take the job, I had a great time interviewing with NICE. They were courteous, fast and very prompt with the scheduling and feedback.
That being said, there are some important items to keep in mind which I think will be of great help to others applying for this role:
• This is a 100% in-office role in Salt Lake City UT and it is not a Hybrid role like the job description says (I am glad I did not join this company because I could not do 5 days a week in the office and relocate to Salt Lake City UT).
• The proposed salary for this role is exceptionally LOW compared to comparable Director level strategy roles.
• This is a company headquartered in Israel with offices in the US. Therefore, much of the directions come from HQ and not much flexibility in terms of strategy formulation.
• This role has been open for months now, and given the above-noted constraints, I imagine not many attractive candidates will take the role.
I am very happy to say that I am very close to accepting a much better Head of Strategy role with a large fintech but I thought I would share my experiences in case other candidates are seriously considering this opportunity.
