I interviewed a long time ago, before Covid. There was a quick phone screening and then one in-person interview. Basic interview questions such as interests, experience, and skills assessment.
I was asked to conduct a typing test to determine WPM.
I also had to do a math test without a calculator.
I applied online. I interviewed at Nina McLemore (Atlanta, GA) in May 2023

Interview
Overall, the interview via phone went well. It was the follow up that was unprofessional. I enjoyed speaking with the owner and felt like we had a good connection and even shared a few laughs throughout the conversation. I was asked to visit the boutique and then prepare a marketing plan to grow the business under certain specifics. I did both and sent to the owner for review. She never emailed or called back. I sent a follow up email a week later and never heard a word. It has been almost three weeks now. I understand if you decided to move forward with another candidate or didn't feel as if I were the best fit but a simple response to indicate such would have been appreciated. After reading some of the reviews on Glassdoor, I would have to agree that the level of professionalism and organization within this small company has a lot to be desired.
