Question 1
What experience do you have in customer or client facing positions?
After applying, contact was quick and friendly. Video interview was scheduled promptly to discuss if I would be a good fit for the position. Interview was scheduled for 45 minutes but lasted 1.5 hours. Really friendly interviewer that asked great questions - felt like a conversation more than an interview. Interviewer said "I'll be passing your name on to our CEO for a second interview next week." But then...they ghosted me.
I emailed the interviewer (not through a hiring portal) a week later to check-in and didn't receive a response. Three months later I emailed again and they said they had lost all applicant information and were holding off on hiring the position.

Interview
First video call was a preliminary interview to see if I was a good fit with the rest of the organization. It was a great, friendly video call and gave me much hope in that this could be a great place to work and contribute to.
This is where things took a turn. The tech video interview was the opposite of the preliminary. I had a 1-on1 phone interview with their primary engineer from his basement office. It started out well until some of the buzzwords he was asking me about confused me. This apparently sealed my fate, and he ended the interview early.
