I applied online. I interviewed at Noom (New York, NY) in Aug 2020
Interview
Friendly interview process. 1 video pre-recording, 1 phone interview, and final-- live video. Did try to negotiate but at that time (2017) they were firm. Back then processes were still evolving.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The only thing I do recall most was the mock coaching which I had to do via a google doc I believe. They gave me a scenario of a person's background, current health, and health aspirations. The person wanted to lose weight.
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.

Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
