Interview
Contact was made by a recruiter to interview with this company and its sister company, Revelo Resources which was previously named Iron Creek Capital. Arrangements for the interview took two weeks since many different managers were needed in the process making it harder to find a time that worked for everyone. The recruiter was asked to get candidates to review both companies marketing efforts as management had no such expertise. Candidates were asked to come to the interview with many new ideas and suggestions.
During the interview many questions were asked about former workplaces and very detailed questions about how to improve marketing efforts. One manager wanted very specific details about changes to their website, marketing brochures, presentations and trade show materials. The majority of the interview focused on this interviewer taking notes and obtaining very detailed information for changes. In the second interview, candidates were asked to make a presentation to the same individuals. This part was easier and did not require the candidate to provide a detailed plan to overhaul the companies websites and brochures.
I later learned that this company had already chosen their winning candidate, and had used a recruiter to justify hiring a person who was closely related to one of the companies directors. I have reviewed both websites and alot of professional opinions that were given during the first interview have been used.
