I was called to do a basic interview for an accounting analyst position. The total interview took 9 minutes. I sat in the lobby waiting longer than the interview took (I was also super early). The questions were all pertaining to my resume which my interviewer asked with my resume in front of her. I'm not sure what the point of this interview was except to make sure I wasn't a liar. When the interviewer asked me what I was thinking for salary I overshot by about $15,000. This position paid less than my internship. So we both kindly said I don't think this position is a right fit and I went on my way.
