Stopped by Northrop's booth at SWE conference and was given an interview right there. Interviewed with senior engineering manager. Simple behavioral questions. Given an offer immediately after finishing the interview.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Nov 2019
Interview
Applied in Sept. 2019 and got a phone interview in November. The overall interview was easy and simple. But the interviewer kept promising things that made me felt like I got the job which I didn't.
After the phone interview, I sent an email for an update weeks later but never got a response back. I had to go onto their website to check on my status and found out on my own that I didn't get the job. No call, no update. It took 6 months for an update on their website.
For a big company like this, I expected more professionalism.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Jul 2011
Interview
I received an initial phone interview accessing my skills, previous employment and duties, and experience after scheduling through HR via email. It took about 30 minutes, and was average. I received an email a few days later requesting 1:1 interview. The 1:1 interview took about 1 hour where I met multiple personnel accessing the skill set needed for the position.
