The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Jun 2010
Interview
Interviewers were focused on detailed technical expertise including specific commands that you would use. Interviewers also assumed that I didn't know some of the basic things and presented the questions as if they were tough questions. Overall I felt the interviewers were intermediate level engineers and did not had the depth of knowledge required to interview a senior professional. Perhaps it was my mistake that I applied for a position that may be junior compared to my current experience.

Question 1
If you were trapped in a room and had no way to escape how would you get of the room, as an example of thinking out of the box.
I applied online through the Northrop Grumman careers site in mid-January. A recruiter reached out within 5 days for a quick 15-minute phone screen to confirm my experience and interest in defense work. They scheduled a 60-minute panel interview with my hiring manager and two senior software engineers the following week.
