***WASTE OF TIME****
Ghosted After Being Told I Was the Top Candidate
I rarely leave reviews, but candidates deserve to know what they are walking into here.
The interview process was multi-round and generally well-run: conversational interviews with future teammates and managers, followed by a panel presentation built around a case study. The case study was fair, an Excel workbook, and a short slide deck on a client success scenario.
Here is where it went wrong: HR explicitly told me I was the ideal candidate. Then the company stopped responding entirely. No offer. No rejection. Nothing.
To make it worse, I had also completed extra interviews beyond the standard process at their request. That additional investment of time led to nothing, not even a courtesy email.
The internal misalignment was apparent in hindsight. The division manager's portion of the process felt disconnected from everything that came before it, including references to roles that were never posted publicly. My read is that the company had not finalized whether the role was actually approved or what shape it would take.
Bottom line: Strong candidates can and will get ghosted here after a lengthy process. Apply only if the role is a true priority for you.

Thorough process, several interviews and final round including a case study presentation and deliverable. All interviews were conducted virtually. Constant contact from HR throughout the process. 4 rounds in total. Was given additional positive feedback after final round only to be ghosted, then given the excuse that hiring for the role had paused after a month long 4+ interview process. Wasted significant time for multiple candidates with no remorse.
