Reviewer,
While we appreciate this open feedback, our recruiting systems have changed since February due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team and community members' safety is our top priority, so, unfortunately, our face-to-face meetings have paused until they are safe to do so again.
Before the pandemic began, we did conduct multi-step interviews where candidates met with varying members of our recruiting and management teams. We want our candidates to feel comfortable, so these meetings were typically conducted in a relaxed atmosphere like a coffee shop. You accepted our job offer at the start of the year, which lets us know that you enjoyed this process; thanks for letting us know!
We are very upfront throughout our interviews about what we do and the position's responsibilities. It is saddening to see that you believe we would purposely "instill fear" in our candidates. Our business is not for everyone, and we wouldn't want to waste anyone's time by lying or manipulating them into agreeing to work with us.
Our company was not the right fit for you from what we can tell, and we get that! We are sad that you left under less than happy circumstances, but we hope that your time with us was not wasted and that you were able to pick up a few transferrable skills. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors, and thank you again for this feedback!
Sincerely,
Northwestern Marketing Concepts Management Team
