I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual in Jul 2020
Interview
After applying online, set up a 30 minute phone interview with HR within the first week. Then a technical round was setup within a weeks time. Skype video call with three interviewers who took turns to ask questions. Each of them would ask questions from their area of expertise. They have follow up questions on most of the things. Mostly were theoretical questions and none were problem solving.

Interview
They called me for a phone screen but I missed the call. I called them back when I was free a few hours later and I continued to call them daily for a few days. I’m not desperate for a job, so I stopped calling. The recruiter said they’d be available that same day to talk, but they were not. This is a terrible recruiting experience. My application was submitted a month ago, and I’m just now hearing back from NM. However, now I’ve been ghosted.

30 minute phone screen. Pretty standard. I sent 4 follow up emails in a months time. Never got a reply, not one. Stay away because they aren't actually hiring. I was told I would hear back in two days if I was going to be moved along. It's been two months now.
