I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Northwestern University (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2019
Interview
Applied directly on their website. Didn't hear from them after two weeks, so I assumed that they weren't interested. They responded exactly month later, offering a telephone interview. On telephone interview there were 4 to 5 people on it, asking about my experience, standard personality style questions, and some general technical questions.
After that, I didn't here anything from them for another 3 weeks. They then wanted me to come down to campus and go through a series of interviews with their team. By that point, I had already accepted another offer, so I declined.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process itself was pretty chill. It only consisted of me sending my resume and then one interview. Then again, this was an early stage startup that specialized in hearing aids.
it was in zoom and they asked the typical questions like the question about my work experience, projects, tools. they asked about open-source language ,ubuntu and python. Also they did not let me know for any other steps.
