I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NuVasive (San Diego, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Terrible experience. It's a lengthy process drawn out for no reason other than poor HR. I had to call over and over and over to just get HR on the phone to let me schedule and know next steps - they are completely incompetent. As a final slap in the face, after 2 months and the in-person interview, I was basically told by HR that I wasn't a good fit (I have 6 yrs of exact experience, mind you) and that the salary I told them 2 months prior was "a bit too high for the team" and maybe I should consider a PM role in another group. So basically I was strung along for 2 months through the whole process for no reason other than terrible HR and false promises. Not recommended!
Actual process: Phone screen with HR, then hiring manager phone screen, then digital design challenge (I spent ~10hrs on this) , finally an in-person interview with 4+ teammates before a decision is made.
