Then came the live coding session, where I was rejected—not for my coding skills, but simply because I didn’t “think out loud” (ridiculous). This year, I applied again and faced the same home coding test as last time. I refined and optimized my previous solution, focusing on scalability and best practices. Yet, despite the improvements, I was rejected at this very stage. Unbelievable.
