      Research Manager Interview

      23 Dec 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Numerator in Nov 2023

      Interview

      1. Apply and take IQ and personality test 2. Interview with Recruiter 3. Interview with Hiring Manager 4. If chosen to move on, there would be a case study that you'd have to present to a group I was not chosen for step 4. I wasn't that interested and applied before I realized they would want me to do an unpaid project, but I felt like I should at least take the interview since I did the IQ and personality test. I hesitated before even doing those tests but I was bored that morning and figured why not? The pay is also about 20% lower than what I have made for a similar role. I was feeling indifferent about the whole thing and I'm sure it showed. Both the recruiter and hiring manager were very pleasant, but I was not wanting to proceed to the next step because I don't work for free. And while unlimited PTO is great in theory, it's a way for companies to not have to pay out unused vacation time if you should leave. This definitely wasn't the role or company for me, but someone else might love it.
