Let’s say we have a website and we keep track of what pages customers are viewing, for things like business metrics.
Every time somebody comes to the website, we write a record to a log file consisting of Timestamp, PageId, CustomerId. At the end of the day we have a big log file with many entries in that format. And for every day we have a new file.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at O'Neil Data Systems (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
It seems like no one cares about you came there for an interview or not. I wait for another 40 minutes after our scheduled time. Finally a group leader, not the one who should interview me, came to me and asked some technical questions without having a chance to read my resume. He also asked me some theoretical questions not related to the position at all. After that, he received a call and said he must go because there are something wrong with his current project.
