I would be cautious about interviewing with O'Reilly based on my experience. I went through multiple interview rounds, had interviews rescheduled twice at the last minute, and ultimately received an automated rejection email that appeared to use the wrong template. The message referenced not scheduling interviews even though I had already completed several rounds, which felt impersonal and frustrating after the time investment.
I was also disappointed by comments made regarding recent IT layoffs, which came across as dismissive toward affected employees. Overall, the hiring process felt disorganized and left a negative impression.
