First of all, the interview process was terrible from start to finish. OKX loves misleading candidates and giving false hopes. Despite the terrible existing reviews here at glassdoor, I thought of giving it a chance as maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Frankly, I'm glad that I dont have to represent this company. The whole process took almost a month. The interview consists of 3 rounds. The first round was mainly about your background and knowledge about the job and various weird questions about your choices in a given situation. Followed by an extensive assignment with two more interviews with the hr and team lead. The interviewers were unprofessional and seemed like they were doing it to get their work done. They aren't interested in what you say only if you have the same answer as them and cook up random questions to meet the timing. The interviewer can't even speak English properly. They weren't even listening to you the whole time they were just doing their own work on the side. This is an unfair way of interviewing candidates and wasting their time and effort. One of the team leaders was constantly dancing around with his drinks and was not even paying attention, I had to repeat my answers several times during the whole 20 mins of the interview. One of the most alarming questions I was constantly asked is whether I would like to work overtime and be able to work with Chinese peers as they have a Chinese cultural setting. This has nothing to do with the job. As I have been working here in HK all my life. This does not make any sense for such an international company to constantly adopt a Chinese working style but aims to be international. Sounds like a racist move to just to hire Chinese nationals only. Note to management: OKX if you're not interested in a candidate don't make them do free work just to reject them in the end because of racial reasons. And please hire more professional HR who knows the basics 101 for interviewing candidates. If you're planning on going for an international move but still preach about the Chinese OT working style. Then just forget about being international. Note to interviewer: You may try this but if it doesn't work out it's not you it's really them. You would be dodging a bullet as long-term working with such egoistic and racist employees in OKX would risk your own mental health
