Canceled on less than 30 minutes prior to the phone screen due to an arbitrary technicality in their recruiting process which didn't even apply to me. General lack of respect is quite apparent and staggering, particularly for a tenured position of the sort.
The entire hiring process including 5 rounds of interview over 2+ months was generally pleasant, smooth and very well coordinated by the Singapore TA specialist, JC, in terms of interview timings and admin preparation stuff. The interviewers were very knowledgeable and experienced in their respective fields and yet were very respectful to hear your experience and perspectives. While the some rounds touched on technical aspect of the role, the overall conversations were enjoyable and insightful.
