The entire process seemed quite traditional and a weird process.
So the HR will text you first to ask on the expected salary and shortlist you if it’s within range. Then a week plus later, they will schedule you for an interview - HR & Hiring Manager. HR interviewer has a whole set of questions, quite rigid and by the books rather than conversational. Afterwhich, you’ll have an interview with the hiring manager and you have to repeat your entire introduction again. There’s also a writing assessment as well.
More than a month later, they tell you they have concluded the process and decides to offer you the job - shares the salary, benefits, job detail, basically everything to confirm the offer.
After accepting the offer, they will then do a reference check and have you do an online personality test. Only after this, they will then decide to accept or reject you. Which IMO and after speaking to all my boss and colleagues, should be done before they even offer.
So the question on “did you get an offer?” Yes i did but they retracted it and said cause not enough experience. But, why then would you waste the interviewee’s time if during the interview or before that you already know there is not enough experience but still proceeded to offer the job. Hmm..
