      Product Manager Interview

      9 Dec 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Murray, UT
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ONYX Graphics (Murray, UT) in Oct 2023

      Interview

Recruiter Call -> Hiring Manager (Behavioural) -> Engineering 1:1 (Casual) -> CEO, CFO, Head R&D, PrgM (30min) Pretty standard. No case studies. No skill assessments. Doubtful they have rubrics. The back to back 30 min meetings on teh final interviews is brutal though since you end up answering almost the exact same questions in every meeting and by the end have no idea if you've said the same thing everytime or not. The company is kind and full of good people. They are challenged moving into a new age of tech while supporting their legacy. They're profitable and owned by a large company though. Historically very delivery focused and the questions were very timeline oriented. I wouldn't expect to be involved heavily in the 'discovery process' and more sales-led as an org.

      Question 1

      * When was a time you failed to meet a deadline and how did you communicate that to stakeholders * How do you stay organized on projects * How long of a roadmap did you typically manage

      Product Manager Interview

      21 Nov 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ONYX Graphics (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2023

      Interview

Company sent me an offer and revoked it with no explanation. Company did not provide a professional interviewing experience. The interview process started with calling me and beginning a 30 minute interview without scheduling a time to talk. I ended up having to take the call and interview while driving down the road with a barking dog in the backseat since I was not prepared or told to prepare a quiet place to interview. They then forgot to send me 2 of the 3 calendar invites for later on interviews after saying they would. I had to follow up to be added and she stated she forgot both times. I thought it was all was ok as the rest of the interviews were basic behavioral and went ok. I was then called after 3 rounds rounds of interviews post-screener call when I was offered the job and signed an offer letter. Two business days later, they emailed saying they were revoking the offer without explanation.

      Question 1

Elaborated on resume Tell me about challenges you've faced in projects? What do you know about the job? What do you know about the company? Tell me about yourself? Why should we hire you?
