Recruiter connected through LinkedIn. Initial video with them and moved along to in person with store manager. Experience with them was upsetting as they did not review my resume or credentials prior. She asked no questions related to performance, behaviour. I was then not even contacted whether I had the job. I had to email after several weeks for a response.
Other Assistant Manager interview reviews for Oak and Fort
None. Set up an interview to speak the following week, 2 hours prior to the interview time it was canceled. Interviewer asked to reschedule for the following day and was ghosted.
I applied online. I interviewed at Oak and Fort in May 2017
Interview
Sent my resume and cover letter in the morning, received a voice mail asking to arrange an interview by that afternoon. Set up the interview with the store manager. On the day of, she took me for a coffee in the same mall to conduct the interview. It was a lovely talk, nothing too out of the ordinary. First question to probe what you are like as a person. Standard strengths, weaknesses/situational questions. The pages/script she had printed out was very long and repetitive (she admitted it herself), but I thought we had a good rapport. She even complimented me on how intelligent and thoughtful I was. At the end, I asked about next steps. She said she would arrange for a second round meeting with the District/Regional Manager but it would take a few weeks. Ended well, so I thought. Followed up with thank you email and another a couple weeks later. Never heard back. Nice girl, but the process was a little unprofessional and left a rather sour taste in the end.
