Interview
I had 3 interviews over the course of a few weeks. First was typical 1 hour HR screening, pretty average. Second was 1 hour Google Meet video call with hiring manager, specific and relatively difficult questions. Then, prior to the third, I completed an exercise that I spent 2.5 hours on, which I then presented in the third interview. Third was 1 hour Google Meet panel style (3 panelists), was disjointed and disorganized. I didn’t hear back for 10 days despite follow up emails, and then was told they went with a different candidate. Disappointed in the lack of communication / transparency after I spent upwards of 5.5 hours on exercises/in interviews and many more hours preparing. Overall not a great experience.

From the beginning I was wary after reviewing all of the feedback on Glassdoor. But I pursued the opportunity anyway. I know someone in HR, who connected me with the hiring coordinator, and suggested a 15 minute call to discuss the role - never heard anything. A couple of weeks later, they reached out at 7PM on a Friday, to schedule a formal interview, 10 minutes before the originally scheduled interview the same coordinator asked to reschedule. Days later when we rescheduled she showed up late, now here we are nearly 3 weeks later, and I haven't heard anything. The whole process was unprofessional.
They were upfront with the frankly -low- salary; and other benefits (which didn't seem great, compared to the industry average).

Had a conversation with a recruiter after having applied to the position at least seven months earlier. After that call, I had a second round interview with a team leader. And was ghosted - my second round was two months ago and I have not heard anything even after following up twice. It really doesn’t take much effort to just follow up and let a candidate know where they stand. Disappointing.
