This is a VERY long process. If you're applying to this and you already have a job you will need time off to be able to attend every stage. This could definitely be more streamlined. I applied, then received an email a day or two later asking when I was available for a 30 minute video chat, then was invited to a Discovery Day. This runs for around 3 hours and consists of group activities, a solo interview and a Q&A with a member from Octopus. After this, I was required to attend the office for another 30 minute interview. This, in my opinion, is far too many stages for an entry level customer service job, especially when in every single interview I was asked the same questions. I'm not entirely sure why this couldn't have been kept to just the Discovery Day for example! Octopus also use a third party company to handle their recruitment. I am quite disappointed after reading other reviews on here saying how good their assigned recruiter was because mine was not fully up to scratch. Their purpose was to let me know what was going to happen throughout the process and be somewhat of a cheerleader and offer advice, but I did feel slightly insulted in terms of their feedback, not very constructive at all. I know my experience is uncommon but it was frustrating to say the least! All in all, an okay process but is unnecessarily long.
