I had an experience with Omnicell where they played with my time and efforts. After clearing the initial screening, I was invited for offline interviews, where I successfully completed three technical rounds. Following that, I had a managerial interview with someone from the USA, which also went well.
Afterward, I received a congratulatory email stating that I had cleared all the rounds and was asked to submit relevant documents like my salary slips, Aadhar card, and PAN card. Once I submitted them, I had an HR round with the Country Head of India and China, during which my salary was discussed in detail.
A couple of days later, I was unexpectedly asked to attend another interview for a different team. I agreed and performed well, making it my fifth interview for the Engineer 2 role at Omnicell.
Weeks later, I was asked to attend yet another technical interview online. After all these rounds, the HR representative praised my performance, calling me their "gold medalist" but mentioned that the position was closed for the time being and that they would recruit me in the next quarter.
However, I never received any further communication from them. Later, I learned from another candidate that they had gone through a similar experience. It seems the company disregards candidates' time and emotions by conducting an extensive process without a clear outcome.
