I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at On Call Staffing (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2019
Interview
Smooth recruiting process with Client-Side for a 1-year contract position. Firstly, the hiring manager from the staffing company does a phone screen call, then depending on your professional experience sends you to the client-side for one on one interview process.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at On Call Staffing (Tampa, FL)
Interview
On Call Staffing hires personnel for Ultimate Medical Academy, a for-profit high education institution. The hiring process begins with an orientation. The term "Admissions advisor" can be a euphemism for telemarketer, calling people who visit job search sites and trying to enroll them in the company's educational program. It can be a high pressure sales environment, with quotas expected to be filled. I have over ten years in call center and marketing experience, working for a variety of companies, so I know what to look for when evaluating a call center position.
During the orientation, the On Call Staffing representative explained that we would see the call center, listen to some successful calls, and find out what questions would be asked, AFTER we had been hired, not before, saying no company would show their call center to an applicant before hire, a statement which is blatantly false. I have never accepted a job without first being given an opportunity to see the work environment and sit with someone to hear the flow of questions and calls. The refusal of On Call staffing to be up front about the working conditions, and the above false statement, makes me suspect they might be hiding something. I did not complete the orientation.
