Sent in CV and got a call back 2 days later inviting me for an interview the next day.
Went in and was asked to fill out a form with basics, literacy test, numeracy test and a test on knowledge of insurance. All seemed pretty easy. Then got took into a room to be "interviewed", they asked me basic questions again. Marital status, DOB, address, name etc. Then went on to explain the position very vaguely stating everyone starts in sales on minimum wage then can progress up to different tiers where you would be able to earn more money. £100 attendance bonus each month and by 6 months an extra £200. Stated training would take 2-3 weeks unpaid, which means when you start you could be working for 2 months without even seeing a penny. Only thing that seemed good about it was the £15 per hour overtime. They went on to state the culture is very friendly and "a big family" however, reading some of the reviews on here I highly doubt it.
Everything just seemed far too rushed, no regular questions you get in an interview regarding experience, why do you want to work here, strengths, weaknesses etc. Infact, I only got asked 1 question which was regarding the job which was "what skills do you think you would need for this job? Have you got those skills?". Seems like they want to hire anyone that can read or write to a standard level with no interest in progressing or knowing the full details of the role.
Went on to say I would get a call back the same day if I get an offer of employment. Did not really want the job after this interview so when they called back I declined the offer. I did read the comments on this website before going in although I wanted to give them a chance to experience myself to see if they were worth working for.
Alas, I do not think so.
