I had a really great first round interview with HR, followed by the hiring manager reaching out to schedule the next round. I provided my availability and then heard nothing…the days I provided availability for came and went so I followed up. Still nothing. It’s now been two weeks and neither the HR woman nor the hiring manager has the decency to respond to me. It’s incredible rude and disrespectful.

Interview
I was initially approached on LinkedIn by a friendly employee who encouraged me to apply for a role. After sending my details, I was offered an interview very quickly. As part of the process, I was asked to create a presentation based on a hypothetical scenario. I spent over a week developing and scripting it because I was genuinely excited about the role and the company.
The interviewers I spoke to beforehand were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I delivered the presentation and received extremely positive feedback, and I was told it was “by far the strongest” they had seen. After that, I was contacted by another employee who said they would like me to speak with the CEO, framing it as good news. That call also went very well, and it was strongly implied that I had secured the role.
Following this, communication stopped. I didn’t hear anything for weeks and had to chase repeatedly for an update. Given the time and effort I had put into the process, this was very disappointing. Eventually, after several follow-ups, I received a long apology explaining that the company no longer had the funds to support the role.
More recently, I was encouraged by the same employee to apply for another position. I submitted my details again, but never received a response. I followed up via email and LinkedIn and still heard nothing.
The people I spoke to seemed great, and the company appears like it could be a good place to work, but my experience with the recruitment process felt disorganised and frustrating. I invested a significant amount of time and effort and was left feeling ignored and messed around.

Have interviewed with them twice in different years for roughly the similar role and both times they cut the interview process all of sudden due to ‘internal changes’ within the team. There’s also another couple of things that made me think it might be a fake job advertising
