1 phone interview with the Lead UX + 1 interview with Chief technology & Lead UX & PO.
They called me although I’ve applied around 2 months earlier - I was surprised about such a long process.
The contact with the members of the team was good and interesting.
The contact with the Chief was a little unpleasant: apparently he was looking for a dazzling portfolio, for which it was not really my case. The problem with this kind of people is that they think a Designer have more time to spent on his portfolio than for real working.
Several opinions in this field says that for experienced/senior Designers the best candidates are not who have a fancy portfolio, because they are focus on their project more than personal branding.
The disappointing side of the story is that apparently they choose a candidate more for starting immediately and for the English mother tongue.
The positive side is that after the meeting they provided a quick feedback.
I felt these people only called me to get some source of inspiration, and I think they already made the decision before to call me.
This meeting was kind of waste of time.
