I applied through other source. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at OpenSC (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
Long process. Too much radio silence. Disrespectful use of candidate's time. No meaningful feedback at all. Needed to be chased.
Case study was too much, too long. Seemed like mining people for their ideas.
Demanded an NDA for a product demo that never happened.
Interview format and interviewers changed last minute. Some questions poorly articulated and was clear they were improvising. Evident lack of poor internal comms and an HR manager/recruiter not ensuring hiring decisions are made well or that candidates have a good experience and letting inexperienced interviewers drive the process and decisions.
Typical poor interview experience but they probably don't care or don't know what they are doing or believe that because they are a startup doing good in a candidate heavy market, they can do what they like.

I applied online. I interviewed at OpenSC (Berlin) in Apr 2023
Interview
Standard interview process. Great people and great company mission. Went through 3 rounds and met quite a few people throughout the organisation. All remote made it difficult to get a feel for company culture and team that I would be working with.
