I applied online. I interviewed at OpenTable (London, England)
Interview
1. Screening with a recruiter - pretty standard
2. Interview with the line manager - I got the impression the manager didn't want to be bothered much, first red flag
3. Excel assessment - create a pivot table, got a much warmer feeling from the interviewer
4. SQL assessment - this was terrible, again the person supervising the interview wasn't warm at all, the task was ridiculous
Overall I spoke to 4 different people during the process, 2 of which put me off the role. Despite completing 4 stages I got zero feedback, which is ridiculous. Glad I didn't get the offer.
Moderate level.
Introductory call to know about you and what you know about the revenue model of Opentable(Very important to know this)
2 Technical rounds on SQL and Google Sheets
2 rounds with the Senior Leaders more about testing your interest in the role through various behavioural questions.
There was an hr screening round, a behavioural interview round (the hiring manager pushed me for an hour during this round), and then a tech interview(sql easy and google sheet). They pressure test people. And then a take-home case.
