I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Optasia in Sept 2025
Interview
There were 2 1 hour long technical interviews.
The first part of the first interview was with a senior developer in which we discussed my previous job, my experience with java and the company's product which I would be working on. The second part consisted of technical questions about Java along with solving a bug in a code given in a snippet.
The second was with the head HR and a project manager. The hr asked questions about why I want to join the company, why I left my previous job along with questions describing my intent and my motivation about taking on the job. The manager asked more broad technical questions, as how I would implement a database given a performance problem with some queries.
It was overall a good experience although It felt like the role was highly competitive, as I answered most of the questions and got a negative reply.

Interview
Initial contact was about taking an online cognitive test by BRYQ. After that I progressed to the first round interview which involved one HR person and the director and a senior member of the team. It was a very pleasant experience which was closer to a discussion rather than an uncomfortable interrogation. I had the opportunity to learn more about the nature and responsibilities of the role and it was clear that all three of the interviewers were very knowledgeable about both the role and the company overall.
About a week later I was informed that they would like me to proceed to the 2nd round which involved a personal interview at the company, again with the director and the senior member. Just like the first interview, it was a deeper discussion about the role and it also involved a few technical questions but nothing too fancy or a trap. After that I was told I should wait for about a week for their decision, at which point I was given an offer. It was an overall great experience and I must also add that they were very accommodative through out the process in terms of arranging the interviews on days and in time that was convenient for me.
Thank you for your review. We always strive to provide a positive experience for applicants throughout the recruitment process, We are pleased that you had a positive experience during your interview and we are happy to have you on board.

Interview
Before the interview, I was contacted via phone to perform a behavioral test and a technical assignment were I had one week to complete them. Then an interview with HR and a senior data engineer took place online. The HR person was irrelevant , honestly she asked random questions with not much particular value. Then we continued with the senior data engineer where we discussed any problems with the project, overall a very pleasant experience. Although it seemed that I have all necessary skills , again for a junior position, I was told through an automated message that they wouldn't continue with my application. It made no sense and of course they don't provide reason.
The interview experience was ok but the overall handling was not
