I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver (Amsterdam) in Sept 2024
Interview
4 online assessments, 2 maths, 1 game, 1 behavioural
30min behavioural interview
2x 1 hour cognitive interviews
final round
30m trader chat with other prospects
1h behavioural interview
1h final cognitive interview
Made it to final round, failed and given another chance and then got rejected.
Very good company, fun interview process but also tricky. I think it does flush out effectively, hoping to retry next year.

Question 1
First Interview:
Lots of trading surrounding dice rolls and card probability and summations.
OA for Round 1, involves a lot of quick calculations and estimations. Behavioural interview, Technical interviews and final superday. Final superday involves many interviews, but I did not reach that part.

Question 1
Why trading? Have you applied to any other places?
Multiple Rounds, first was behavioral and second was technical. They first did a pretty lengthy behavioral and seemed pretty good, but then the technical was mainly all Fermi estimations and market making games.
Online assessment followed by multiple steps of technical and behavioral interviews. Pretty standard process in general, positive experience. Seemed to care a lot about cultural fit more than other firms
