I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Optiver in Jan 2025
Interview
oa contains many small games and 3 coding test. coding is a little bit hard. small games include getting 24, pumping the balloon, guessing the pattern and so on. For coding, there is 100 min to complete. The last one is about exchange arbitrage.
Very smooth, the HR just asked me why Optiver, why quant, what is your strength and weakness, what is the career plan in the next 5 years, but I did not answer very perfect
The first section was the online assessment which wasnt too bad, and the next part was a scheduled face to face behavioural interview. Still waiting to see if i passed that stage of recruitment

2nd of betting. the platform was bit hard to use. Recommend to get some training if you can find the resources. both interviewers were nice
