I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Orangetheory Fitness
Interview
The interview took around an hour which consisted of telling the owners about my experience. They asked for my biggest strengths/weaknesses. They also asked how I would fit in with the company. They asked me to do a sales pitch based on paperwork that they gave me 5 minutes to look over. After that we went on a studio tour and they scheduled for me to come in a try a workout two days later. After the workout I chatted with the owners for a few minutes and they said I would hear back in a few days. I received a call later that same day with an offer.

Interview
Very simple 30 minute interview. Interviewer gave his background and asked why I wanted to be a part of the team at Orangetheory. I was then invited to workout and get a chance to meet members of the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about yourself. Why do you want to be a part of the Orangetheory team?
First was a recording and application. Next was a call that was an informational interview and then some behavioral questions. The questions were very manageable and very standard, mainly about my style of fitness and workouts, why I love OrangeTheory, my work ethic, and other workplace experiences.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Orangetheory Fitness (Sacramento, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I was contacted for a brief phone interview which went really well, I received a verbal invitation to the upcoming group interview, and was told to expect an email with the interview invitation. However before the call ended the HR rep disclosed the starting wage which is a dollar less than the minimum wage here in California. I expressed my concern, and she told me they are based outside California so she wasn’t sure about our minimum wage, but she would check on it. At this point her tone had changed, and become irritated and I never received the email invitation to the group interview. I reached out to her to check that she had my correct email, and she replied that she must have missed me and would send the email soon. It was the weekend so I allowed until the end of Monday to write the review. Do yourself a favor and go work for a company that doesn’t mind paying fair wages.
