Received an email about a week after my application via email, inviting me for an interview and to complete a personality questionnaire prior to the interview. Their are no right or wrong answers the email assured.
Attended a very early interview (8am) with two employees, one was via teleconference. Interview was fairly standard, tell us about yourself, asked about resume, university, what do I know about company etc. all seemed to be going well to me until the very end. The interviewer via teleconference had to go to conduct another interview but wanted to end interview with a brain teaser. It is very difficult to answer a brain teaser at 850am, two people sitting there staring at you, you know one has to leave in a couple of minutes and you are already in a stressful environment. If they had perhaps left me alone for 10 min or talked amongst themselves to take the pressure off!?
I didn't get it as I was feeling very pressured with time constraint and them looking at me, so felt quite deflated which may have been visible.
I don't like how they make you do the personality assessment prior to first interview. No questions seemed to reflect this and makes me wonder if they had already decided I was a 'no' based on assessment prior to interview. But, because they already assure you that you have an interview and their are no right or wrong answers, they have to take the time to see you.
