Interviewing with Oregon Food Bank was pleasant and well thought out. I have found most nonprofits have an extensive, overly long interview process. OFB's was exactly as long as it should have been for the role, was with the right number of people, and was done in a welcoming yet formal environment. My only hesitation was only getting 20 minutes to review the questions before the interview itself.

Interview
Applied in August 2020. They contacted me in December 2020. No HR screen. Straight to panel interview. They seemed very impressed with themselves and how important their work is. My take on the conversation was if you've never worked for a food bank you can't possibly imagine how difficult it is to learn how this works. They didn't have the consideration to inform me one way or the other about filling the position, which is not very surprising considering they took 4 months to get around to interviewing applicants.

Interview
Please don’t waste your time. Manager spent most his time checking his cell phone for messages. Wonder why I was even there for interview. Very unprofessional person. Dressed like he just woke up.
