Recruiter call, then technical screen.
Recruiter was great and down to earth. Technical screen was odd. One Leetcode style interview that didn't really seem to apply at all to Front-End, I took a wrong approach from the get-go but got too deep before I realized it. Pretty sure they wanted me to build something with hashmaps, but it was too late for me to do anything about it. The interviewer was very cold, and seemed to dislike me from the moment they joined. In addition, they kept typing in the shared coding space while I was working, which was extremely distracting and would cause the text to jump around while I was trying to type and concentrate.
The second interview was building something in React, the interviewer was much more welcoming and created a much more relaxed atmosphere for the challenge.
I believe each interview was about an hour.

Interview
Extremely lengthy and drawn out interview experience. I did 6 rounds over a few weeks which included a recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, hiring manager in-person meeting, leadership interview, peer interview, and final panel presentation. In addition to the countless prep calls and texts with one designated recruiter everyday. The theme of the conversations was to uncover how hard you’re willing to work.
For the final presentation, they sent a vague prompt on what to include and expected you to make your own slides. I was ghosted for 2 weeks following my final presentation and sent an impersonal, generic rejection message by a recruiter I’d never spoken to.
Not worth the interview or time committed. It’s okay for a candidate to not be the right fit, but this recruiting experience was appalling.

The interview process consisted of an initial virtual interview with recruiter, virtual interview with team lead, a lengthy take home assignment, and a virtual panel discussion about the take home assignment.
