Interview
on site and quite straight to the point. Vibe was relaxed and cordial.
Questions were about relevant experience, preferred position and physical health in terms of if you'd be able to lift boxes, bags with donations or be able to stand for a while during the shifts.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Oxfam (Nottingham, England)
Interview
Very easy and casual chat about ethics, work culture and when I'm available to volunteer, needed 2 references and to be over 14, overall a very pleasant place to volunteer.
The interview was clear and well organised, with a logical flow between questions. The questions were relevant to both my experiences and motivation, and the interviewer was friendly and approachable, which helped me feel comfortable and explain my experiences confidently and clearly.
