Interview
There was 1 phone interview with the President and 1 in person interview with the President as well as the Founder. Many red flags went off when I visited their office. For starters, the office is located in a dilapidated building that has NO AIR CONDITIONING, looks like a fire hazard and looks like it could blow over with a wind gust over 10 MPH. When I walked inside the office, there were 2 tables with 4 people seated per table with laptops, and papers all over the floor. It looked like a slum lord's place unlike anything I've ever seen before.
The Founder said he started the company as a favor to a friend and said that he was retired and having a relaxing time on a beach prior to doing so. His entire demeanor suggested that he had no interest in working and was indifferent about the future success of the company. He did open the window during the interview as it began to get a bit stuffy in the room.
In the ad for this job, it states that the starting salary is $30,000-$50,000 annually. Without me bringing it up, the President stated that the starting salary is in the $30K range annually. Although I did not get an offer, I would never have accepted one even if the salary was substantially higher. Although the company has been around for several years, they have no sales department. If you read the review on the Better Business Bureau's web site, they speak to the deceptive tactics this company uses. I would avoid working at this company at all costs!!!!!!!!!!
