The initial phone screening is the most difficult portion of the interview. If you are interviewing for a QA Manager position, PDR Network expects you to be a developer, which is not required to be an excellent QA Manager. That's the best advice I can give. They want you to have book knowledge of all their computer programming languages, as well as strong SQL skills. I guess they expect you to assist in troubleshooting defect origin and possibly fixing them, not just being skilled at finding them and managing the SDLC process. It was a strange interview. I had 6 others for the same position (Software QA Manager), and none expected the technical skills like this company.
