There were two rounds of in-person interviews. They asked about my experience managing projects and my interest in energy efficiency. I was new to energy efficiency and that was not a concern.

1. Walk us through how you managed a complex project? 2. Why does energy efficiency matter to our community?
The process was long and drawn out, it included individual and panel interviews, evaluation of a 40-page document, and then I was asked to present. After all of this, was told to expect an offer. Then I waited. And waited. After a few weeks was told that there was no longer funding for the position.

Interview
Process was rather long. There was 1 phone screening, and 2 in-person interviews (one with direct supervisor and one with the rest of the team. I think they are mostly looking for: 1) right fit with team/company, 2) general smarts to learn on the job and catch up to learning curve, and 3) general fit to the position depending on your past experience and where you are going.
