I had a phone interview, and was scheduled to come in person. I showed up and met with another photographer, I began the skill test, which was to take photos of objects according to specifications, while I was in the process of working, a person came in and told me that I “didn’t hit accept on the invite” and that someone else was scheduled during my time. I did not receive an invite via email, it was all verbal on the phone. I had to leave the interview, humiliated. Later that day I called the person I interviewed with and I was told that she did not send an invite. I was not updated on this, and she said right after the phone interview someone was hired. No one told me this! I drove an hour to the interview location and was completely humiliated. I’ve never experienced this, completely disorganized!

I applied online. I interviewed at PENCIL ONE (Holbrook, MA) in Sept 2017
Interview
I met with Peter for my interview at PENCIL ONE. My interview was about an hour long. Much of the interview was focused on getting to know me as an individual, and my strengths and weaknesses as an employee. It was professional yet calm. The process was made easy on both parties, and there were plenty of openings for questions. Be prepared to talk about your interest in sales, your weaknesses and what you can bring to the table.
