I had a couple phone interviews. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because they weren't opening their new office until three months after they contacted me and I needed a job earlier. However, I wanted to leave a review because Kate from JCW was one of the best recruiters I've worked with. She was really good at following up, keeping me updated and keeping a positive attitude when I told her I had accepted another job. Job hunting would be a much different experience if more recruiters were like her.

They had an initial excel assessment regarding compliance logic and monitoring IMAs quite easy not difficult but did measure the technicals. It was an hour assessment It tested my ability to use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and basic formulas to quickly interpret data and provide clear, accurate outputs. Overall, it simulated real portfolio compliance tasks, ensuring I could handle data accurately and efficiently under time pressure.

Meticulous, purposeful, and detailed - There were Multiple levels of interviews, with each round growing in complexity. There was great feedback from Human Resources when going through the interview process.

Being able to walk through how specific financial products work
The interview process was long -- over 2 months of waiting to hear back. 30-minute phone interview followed by a video panel styled interview with 10 people. The communication and updates about the process were not that great. I was always the one reaching out for an update.
