First step is an Excel Assessment. I was notified I had reached the first phase on Wednesday morning, and was requested to complete a 1-hour Excel Assessment on Thursday morning with time frames of 7-8am, 8-9am, 9-10am. At 7:05am (my requested time) I had still not received the assessment, so I reached out to PIMCO. Assessment was provided at 7:10 with the due-date remaining at 8am. While the assessment was easy (pretty basic excel plus vlookup and a couple interest rate/bond questions), PIMCO was not punctual, nor did they acknowledge their errors. I requested to rescind my application and did not complete the assessment. They additionally had UK based campus recruiters for a States based interview class which makes no sense.
TLDR: Lack of timeliness, ability to acknowledge their errors. Did not complete assessment and rescinded application.
