Interview
I submitted my resume to an email listed in an ad on craigslist and about two weeks later, I received a call from the branch manager. The call was about 15 minutes long and was a bit like a screening interview. I was asked to assess my skills as far as computers and specifically Microsoft Office go. I was scheduled for an interview the following day. After the interview I was called about two more weeks later and offered a job. I made sure to email the interviewer a nice thank you note after we talked, by the way, which I think really made me stand out as a candidate. I also did a lot of research on the company so I could bring up things I had read during the interview. This showed her that I was really interested in the company and was serious about obtaining the job.
