Time consuming and wasting the candidates time. Conducting unnecessary behavioral rounds kinda twice and delaying the updates while trying to keep the candidates on track which is exhausting. Asking unwanted questions off the topic and I still donno on what basis they are hiring candidates.
You must first have an informal phone call meeting with a hiring manager. The second interview is also a phone meeting with more senior staff involved and specific questions about your background.
